Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. Let me
start by telling you just a little about the great group of ladies
that form this association. We are child care providers living
in Calvert County, keeping children in our home while their
parents are working. When you leave your child in a Family
Child Care Home, your children are treated like family. The
groups are small and in turn, the children and parents form
close friendships. Your child will experience the next-best
thing to being home with mom or dad during the day. We
want your child to feel the warmth of a family unit.
You will find a variety of providers throughout the county.
There are many providers that do preschool programs, take
field trips, have the library van come to their home, and many
more activities so that your child is ready for school when the
time comes. Services offered through our providers include
full time, evening, overnight, weekend, and school teacher’s
only child care.

Calvert County Family Day Care Association offers
membership to both parents and providers. We give 24 hours
of free training to our members a year, right here in the
